Welcome to Kama`aina Magazine! Here, you’ll find the latest information on our full-color, printed publication, along with a directory of Hawaiian-owned and islander-supported businesses. We are fortunate to have grown up in Hawai`i, and no matter where you live – in the islands or on the mainland – the connection we have to our island home will forever live in our hearts.
At Kama`aina Magazine we are committed to making a difference in our community, and sharing the spirit of aloha with those in need. As we launch our new Kama`aina Discount Card, we are proud to support our Las Vegas Hawaiian community’s non-profits and community organizations, by donating $5 from each card sold to a local community organization, such as hula groups, sports organizations, non-profits, and more.
In the wake of the horrific events that took place in our city of Las Vegas on October 1, 2017 at the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival, we, like many people near and far, are heartbroken and looking for ways to help. For each card sold in the month of October, we will also contribute an additional $5 to bringing some aloha to some of the injured, as well as to show our gratitude to our first responders. For so many of us, Las Vegas is our home away from home. These are our family members, our friends, our co-workers, and neighbors, and we want to do what we can to help.
Mahalo in advance for your support. Purchased cards will start shipping out on October 16, and all offers on the card are valid until September 30, 2018. For more information, please email us at Info@KamaainaMagazine.com. Thank you for taking the time to visit our site. We hope you’ll find an abundance of information, and that you’ll come back soon. We’re glad you’re here!
A full-color, quarterly, print publication featuring kama`aina from Hawai`i and on the mainland. From Stories of Aloha to Food, Music, Fashion and Culture, Kama`aina has a little something for everyone. We are proud to support local businesses and entertainers, and to perpetuate the culture we grew up with on our island home.
In Hawai`i the culture is strong. We are taught to support one another and help where we can. In business, we believe it should be the same. Our directory features companies that are islander-owned or islander-supported, with owners who believe in the Aloha spirit. Mahalo for your support of these businesses.
